Before your first visit

What to expect, what to bring, and how to know whether MPR is the right fit.

Your first visit is designed to answer three questions: what is happening, what are we going to do about it, and what should progress look like.

The first part is a real conversation about your history, goals, daily activity, training, prior injuries, and what you want to get back to. The middle is a biomechanical assessment: posture, gait, range of motion, strength, and movement patterns. The final part includes hands-on care and a clear explanation of what we found.

Wear athletic or comfortable clothes you can move in. Shorts or athletic pants are helpful for knee, hip, or low-back issues. Bring imaging reports, surgical notes, referral paperwork, prior treatment notes, and workman's comp claim information if any of those apply.

MPR is in-network with BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Medicare. Cash-pay patients are welcome. If you are not sure whether your case is a fit, call 847-834-4027 or send a note through the contact form before booking.
