The first visit is mostly listening

Then we assess the body, build the plan, and keep the endpoint visible.

Your first appointment at MPR is an indepth conversation about your presenting condition. We go through your history, daily activity, physical activity, sleep, stress, prior injuries, and what specifically you came in to address. By the time we get hands-on, we already know what is relevant and what is not.

We then move to a full biomechanical assessment: posture, gait, range of motion, strength, and movement patterns. We are looking for the cause, not just the symptom. A shoulder that hurts is often the consequence of how your hips, thoracic spine, ribcage, and daily loading patterns are moving together.

There is no protocol at MPR. Most plans combine chiropractic and joint care, manual therapy, corrective exercise, rehab programming, and load adjustments. The mix is decided after the assessment and changes as you progress.

Care here is not a one-visit fix and it is not an open-ended subscription. You should know where you started, where you are now, what is left between you and discharge, and what has to happen before you no longer need regular care.
