Common questions before your first visit
The basics: visit length, insurance, what to wear, records, and booking.
What happens in the initial visit? The first part is conversation, the middle is a biomechanical assessment, and the final part is hands-on care plus an explanation of what we found and what comes next.
Do you only do adjustments? No. Chiropractic and joint care is one tool. MPR also uses movement assessment, soft-tissue work, corrective exercise, rehab programming, and practical load adjustments based on what your case actually needs.
What insurance do you accept? MPR is in-network with BCBS, UnitedHealthcare, Aetna, and Medicare. Cash-pay patients are also welcome.
What should I wear? Wear athletic or comfortable clothes you can move in. Shorts or athletic pants are ideal if knee, hip, or low-back pain is part of the visit.
Should I bring imaging or records? Yes. Bring imaging reports, surgical notes, referral paperwork, prior treatment notes, or workman's comp claim information if you have it. If you do not have records, we will tell you what is actually needed.
How do I book? Book online, or call 847-834-4027 if you want to ask a question first.
