Rehab that respects how athletes actually load
For athletes, weekend warriors, and active adults who need more than a generic adjustment.
If you are a high school, college, or competitive adult athlete dealing with an injury, or a runner, lifter, golfer, cyclist, or weekend warrior who refuses to slow down but is starting to feel it, this page is for you. The work at MPR is built around getting you back to the activity you care about, not just getting you back to baseline.
Athletes load their bodies in specific, repeatable, demanding patterns. A nagging issue is rarely random. It is usually the downstream effect of how a chain of joints, soft tissue, strength, mobility, and timing is performing under load. That means the assessment has to look at the chain, not just the painful joint.
Return-to-sport care is staged, not binary. You do not go from injured to cleared. You move from pain control to restored motion, then strength, then sport-specific load, then full-speed activity. Every stage has criteria, and we tell you what they are.
We do not clear athletes early. We also do not keep athletes in care longer than they need. The goal is the right return, not the fastest one and not the most cautious one.
